Nicole Lillian McFarland, age 14, of Miles
City
passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008
at her home in Miles City.
Nicole was born in Miles City, Montana on July 7, 1994, the daughter of Garret and Tammie (Selph) McFarland. She grew up attending Highland Park, Lincoln and Washington Middle School’s.
Nicole loved playing basketball, especially on the Hoopz Basketball Team. She enjoyed playing volleyball, soccer, skiing, hunting and water sports with her friends and cousins. She was involved with “Wild and Crazy Wednesdays” and she helped teach Sunday school class at Grace Bible Church. Nicole took her sports and schooling very seriously. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh and her sense of humor.
Nicole is survived by her parents, Garret and Tammie McFarland of Miles City, MT; a brother, William McFarland of Miles City, MT; her paternal grandparents: Denise and William McFarland Jr. of Fort Benton, MT; maternal grandfather, Bill Mendel of Winifred, MT; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lillian Mendel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008 with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Friends are asked to come at this time and sign a message on Nicole’s casket. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Bible Church in Miles City.
